Awaiting the resurrection of Jesus
After forty days of fasting and prayer
In order to redeem mankind

After being accused unjustly
While trying to liberate His people from sin

Awaiting the Lord in His glory
When the king's and the noblemen on earth
Crucified their Lord and Saviour

Mary wept for Her Son
The disciples were lost in thought
The poor and the women of Jerusalem
All cried to what happened to the Just one

Though evil tried to prevail
But the light from the eternal love prevailed
The children of light will rejoice
At the rising of the Lord of light

We all shall see Him in his glory
He shall come to take us home
At the sound of the trumpet
When all eyes shall behold the Lamb of God

Prisca Onyinye Nwokorie is a  Roman Catholic Nun. She belongs to the religious order of “Oblates of St. Benedict Joseph Labre” in Italy. She is a graduate of the University of Bari where she obtained her Bachelor’s and Masters’ degrees in “Information and Communication Technologies for the Production of Software” and “Computer Science” respectively. Currently, she is carrying out research work on “E-learning for Developing Countries”.
