AS WE AWAIT JESUS’ RETURN

Sealed by our baptism the promise of God’s love
Humanity anticipates the return of Jesus.
It shall be a wonderful event for the end of ages
as we hope to meet Him at the end of our lives.

Burdened by flaws and sins
Life demands strained our desire to perfection;
But God’s divine gaze penetrated our souls
He discovered our unfulfilled desires.

More than we could ever think or imagine
Jesus appealed to human hearts:
“Come to me you who have laboured and I will give you rest”.

Indeed a gracious invitation of Emmanuel – God with us
as our souls long to receive Him:
In the spotless host – the Eucharist food,
In the manger, God humbles Himself like a child.

What a silent wonder to behold the King in a manger –
a lesson of humility and love.
What a great love to meet Him in the Tabernacle –
to teach us purity of life.

As the innocent Child welcomes us at Bethlehem
His love calls us for adoration in the Tabernacle.
For us, it is a moment of grace and transformation
To be lead by God in the path of righteousness and Salvation.
