What our eyes have seen

The eyes are the apparatus of faith
They see the beauty of God's creation
They see opportunities to exercise the love of God
In the Eucharist, the eyes can see the mystery of Christ love.

Focused on what the heart treasures,
our eyes are the lamp of the body
While the unhealthy eyes see darkness and shadow,
the healthy eyes are full of light.

The eyes of the soul guide the spirit
It takes more than a pair of eyes to see
Our eyes make seeing possible
as we learn about the world through the eyes.

God sees us at all times
He knows what is best for us
If we wake up in the silence of the night and all around us is dark
Amid the loneliness of the night, His eyes are still at the watch.
