Till life keep us together

Out of sight and present in the mind
That described my love for her
Years of friendship, yet we never knew each other
We discovered ourselves through a friend of mine
He wished to unite us in love
It was almost working out for us
Suddenly an enemy gained entrance
Sowing a seed of malice and suspect
We quarrelled and accused each other
Bringing to an end our proposed friendship
Without knowing each other
It was on my thirtieth birthday
Among the invited guest
I noticed a strange face and fellow
I kept wondering who it could be
Guessing still on him
Gently, he walked towards me
I offered a handshake but he opened his arms
He offered me a sweet smelling rose flower
A symbol of his total love to me
As he voices my name
I recognized him in person
My love for him was renewed
And will know no end till life keep us together as one
