My discovery of God

Who is this that created man
And all that is in the world
And has chosen not to be seen
Nor allow men to hear his word
Even when in vain men are searching for him around
But he is not far off, with us ever abound

Who has ever seen God
When going or when coming back
To say that he is fair as gold
Or as charcoal that is black
God! Men want to see you
So that your honour will be given to you

Some people in their quest to know
Presume that you are in the water
Sacrificed and inside water throw
But realize their mistake after
Others thought that you are in the wood
They designed and offer sacrifice to wood

Men do these in an attempt to see you
You are the creator of all things
When we recount the good things you do
It is worthwhile to give praise to all kinds
But where can you be found
Nor even a day can you be found

Can it be that God is hiding
So as not to be distributed
By their distracting longings
That he will be influenced
When he is creating things new
To make their own lives new

It will be a day of great joy
When men will see God
Great happiness unalloyed
When on this ground He trod
Many will embrace and kiss Him
Only a few will sigh on Him

  1. I have been surfing on-line more than 3 hours nowadays, but I by no means discovered any fascinating article like yours. It is pretty price sufficient for me. In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the internet can be a lot more helpful than ever before.
