Reconciled through baptism

Jesus chose for Himself the sinners, the infirm and the impoverished
He did more than He should
He decided to bring them to God
His presence was visible in their lives.

Everyone wanted to be part of Him:
Peaceful, obedient and humble
In an attempt to reconcile man with God
He identified himself among sinners.

Pride did not get in the way as a barrier
His mission was to do the will of God
Heaven acknowledged His humble submission
A voice declared, "This is my beloved Son".

The gift of Christ is a perfect illustration
His resignation to God's will was total
He allowed Himself baptised by John the baptist
He changed man to become a perfect gift to God.

Through baptism, man has been inducted as a delegate
To be the light and salt of the earth
To radiate the beauty of God's goodness
To find joy and delight in doing His will.
