Every end is a new beginning

The last day of the year brings us back to the beginning. To end well, we must reconnect to what is at the beginning and foundation of our life.
Of course, sometimes we are delighted that a particular year has passed because of the problems, suffering or difficulties experienced. For sure, this year 2020 will be counted as a year with a difference.
Notwithstanding the difficulties and happy moments of our experiences, we must remain in the spirit of gratitude.
We cannot live the last day of the year by not remembering that we are children of One who saved us, who filled our darkness with light and gave us the power to become children of God.
Jesus Christ became flesh of our flesh. Our lives are rooted in the memory of His birth. We can find the strength to always live with gratitude every moment of our life, even the most painful.
That is why the end of everything is always a memory of the end of a new beginning. We must open our eyes to the purpose of life, to its authentic end to enable us to find the courage without being afraid, but rather be able to say our thanks aloud.

We thank the Lord for this year that we have spent. For sure, it has not been easy for anyone. Everyone, some more, some less, we have had to endure many difficulties, but we do not want to miss our thanks to God.

Happy 2021 in the Lord!
